The terms for buying and using our plugins.
These terms govern your purchase and use of Chiseiko Essential Swatches and Chiseiko Essential Swatches Pro from Chiseiko LLC ("Chiseiko", "we", "us"). By buying, downloading, or using our software you agree to them. Last updated June 2026.
1. The products
Chiseiko Essential Swatches is a free WordPress plugin. Chiseiko Essential Swatches Pro is a paid extension sold as an annual license in tiers (Personal, Freelancer, Studio, Agency) that differ by the number of production sites you may activate. The tier you purchase is shown on your receipt and in your account.
2. License grant
Subject to these terms and payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Chiseiko Essential Swatches Pro on the number of production sites permitted by your tier, for the duration of your active license term. The free plugin is provided under its bundled open-source license (GPL).
3. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Pro software or your license key.
- Share your license key publicly or use it beyond the sites your tier permits.
- Remove or obscure copyright, license, or attribution notices.
- Use the software to build a directly competing product.
4. License term, expiry, and grace period
An active Pro license includes feature and security updates and email support for twelve months from purchase. The plugin re-checks your license status automatically (roughly every twelve hours).
When your license expires, Pro features keep working during a 72-hour grace period so you have time to renew. After the grace period ends, Pro features are disabled until you renew — the free plugin always keeps working. Updates and email support require an active license.
A license that is suspended or revoked — for example following a refund, chargeback, or a violation of these terms — does not receive the 72-hour grace period, and Pro features stop immediately.
5. Payment, renewal, and pricing
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that term. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your billing details current.
6. Refunds
Paid licenses are covered by our 14-day Return & Refund Policy. Please read it before purchasing.
7. Intellectual property
Except for the rights expressly granted to you, Chiseiko retains all right, title, and interest in the Pro software, branding, and documentation.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these terms. On termination you must stop using and remove the Pro software.
10. Privacy
Your use of our site and account is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
